President & CEO
Greg Holsinger is President and CEO of U-GRO Learning Centres, founded as a single church-based preschool. After joining, Holsinger led and transformed the company into a commercially successful enterprise aimed squarely at school preparedness for preschool children. Today, U-GRO children achieve superior outcomes resulting in an average 94.8% K-readiness score. During his tenure, company revenues increased 19-fold and U-GRO now ranks among the Top 50 For-Profit Child Care Organizations in North America. The company has earned multiple Inc. 5000 honors and is routinely recognized as the best in the markets they serve.
Greg’s prior professional background includes positions within the consumer packaged goods industry at the following companies: General Foods Corporation (Kraft Heinz Company, NASDAQ: KHC), Helene Curtis Industries (Unilever, NYSE: UL) and Nielsen (Nielsen Holdings plc, NYSE: NLSN). Professional interests include leadership development, organizational health and ed-tech innovation. He is in his 14th year as a member of Vistage International, the World’s Leading Chief Executive Organization, which delivers a diverse mix of business exposure and perspective.
Greg is a father and husband in Hershey, PA. He values family and enjoys golfing, motorcycling, and skiing. In 2017, he concluded his term as Chair, Board of Directors for Luthercare Retirement Communities. Previous Board service included Linden Hall the nation’s oldest independent boarding and day school for girls, York County (PA) Economic Alliance and the United Methodist Stewardship Foundation. Holsinger is the Treasurer and Council member for his church and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Elizabethtown College.
Kellee Morales, MBA
Director of Culture & Center Experience
Kellee Morales, U-GRO’s Director of Culture and Center Experience, oversees school service delivery and the employee experience team. Kellee focuses on enhancing U-GRO’s culture and improving the lives of both families and team members. Over the course of her career, she has served in Human Resources roles such as Benefits Specialist, Trainer, Compensation Analyst, Performance Management Analyst and HR Strategist.
Kellee began her career in HR at Willis Towers Watson-Philadelphia as a Benefits Consultant and directly preceding her time at U-GRO, spent 9 years at Lancaster General Health Penn Medicine, where she was selected to provide strategic HR support for the healthcare system’s first Electronic Health Record. As a member of Vistage International, Kellee continues building her skills set and serves others by positively impacting her Vistage peers. In 2018, she concluded her tenure as a member on the Board of Trustees for La Academia Partnership Charter School, in Lancaster, PA.
Kellee is invested in encouraging leaders to nurture a values-based culture and find their sweet spot, where they are achieving superior results and loving what they do every day!
Kellee currently resides in Lancaster, PA with her husband and two sons and values giving back to her community and serving as a mentor to young professionals. Kellee has attended LCBC church (Lives Changed by Christ) since 2003 and loves cooking, dancing, hosting friends and family, hiking and spending quality down-time with her children. Kellee graduated from Temple University where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management and Insurance and Human Resources Management, later earning a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Lebanon Valley College.
Leslie Marley, M.Ed.
Director of Education & Curriculum
Leslie Marley, M.Ed, is Director of Education and Curriculum at U-GRO, focusing on preparing children for success in school and life. Leslie develops and coordinates innovative, developmentally appropriate curriculum for infant through school-age children. Leslie has worked in the field of early education for more than 20 years, 16 of them with U-GRO and is a U-GRO preschool alumnus herself. Leslie has come full circle to serve and support U-GRO teachers, children and families.
Leslie has served in a number of different capacities for U-GRO, including Teacher, Director, District Manager, and most recently, Director of Education and Curriculum. Leslie is a member of the Pennsylvania Childcare Association (PACCA) and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), serves on various transition committees within the school districts U-GRO serves, was a member of Vistage International from 2010-2015, and was awarded Lebanon County Child Care Administrator of the Year in 2004.
Leslie resides in Lebanon, PA with her husband and is the mother to three daughters. She values spending time with family and spends her free time traveling and reading. She is active in her church and enjoys singing in the choir. Leslie earned her Bachelor of Science Degree at Metropolitan State College of Denver and her Masters of Education at Shippensburg University.
Susan Evans, CPA
Director of Finance
Susan Evans, Director of Finance at U-GRO, manages all U-GRO fiscal activity including accounting, internal financial reporting, external financial reporting, payroll, financial internal controls, financial risk management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Susan is responsible for supervising and leading the financial team and serves as a partner to the Chief Executive Officer and the Senior Management Team relative to business strategy, operational and financial process improvement, and company profitability.
Susan’s prior professional experiences include public accounting, non-profit accounting with United Way of York County and United Way of the Capital Region, followed by a transition into the private manufacturing sector serving as Area Controller of Purina Mills, Inc. and Controller of Specialty Bakers, Inc. Prior to U-GRO, Susan served as Assistant Treasurer of Phoenix Contact Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Phoenix Contact GmbH.
Professionally, Susan strives to inspire her team to develop to their fullest potential, serving as a role model, building trust and developing strong partnerships among team members.
Susan resides in Harrisburg, PA and is a mother of one daughter. She treasurers her family and enjoys spending time with them, reading and crafting. Susan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Messiah College.
In 1973, Janice Holsinger founded the first U-GRO Learning Centre in Palmyra, Pennsylvania. Janice’s dream was to incorporate her background in music and art into a positive educational program for young children. Working with a local church and teachers who shared her passion for helping children grow and develop into bright students, Janice created a community of engaged parents and children at U-GRO.
After joining his mother’s enterprise in 1994, Greg Holsinger focused on innovative education, service, modern facilities and high performing teams to help U-GRO become the premier provider of early childhood and preschool education in Central Pennsylvania. Four decades after the first Learning Centre opened its doors, U-GRO has grown to 13 locations and serves more than 1,900 children.
U-GRO has appeared on the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest-Growing Private Companies; was named one of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies by the Central Penn Business Journal; and has been voted Best Childcare Provider by area families in Central Penn Parent Magazine, Lancaster County Magazine and Lebanon Daily News.
