Welcome to Our School
Welcome to our U-GRO Learning Centre in Hummelstown, PA! We've been a part of the Hershey community since 2000 and are conveniently located just off Route 322. Our state-of-the-art center includes an Early Development Center for Infants and Toddlers, as well as an adjacent Discovery Center for Preschool and older.
My name is LuAnn Frentz, and I am the Center Director of U-GRO Hershey.
We are thrilled to share that our school has recently been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Our center offers full- and part-time program options for children ages six weeks through eight years. Classes are taught by our incredible teaching staff - all team members participate in various early education training opportunities throughout the year.

In the past 30 years I have been a teacher in both Early Childhood and Elementary classrooms, an Early Intervention Special Instructor, and most recently held administrative roles as an Operations Manager, School Education Manager and now proudly the Director here. Hello and welcome to U-Gro, Hershey! I am from Maryland, originally, and moved to the Harrisburg-area in April of 2023. I have been with Learning Care Group since 2011. I started as an Infant/Toddler teacher, then was promoted to Assistant Director, and now am Associate Director! I love what I do! Being able to interact with the children, teachers, and families everyday makes this job so rewarding and enjoyable. I look forward to getting to know you and your child(ren)!
