Your peace of mind is a top priority, but what will your child's experience LOOK and FEEL like? Let’s dive into the MAGIC of Wondercamp so you know what to expect.

Personalized Experiences by Age

Perhaps you already have a little one in our care while their big brother or sister attends elementary school. When summer break starts, send them BOTH our way! Wondercamp is perfect for:

Toddlers (age 2)  | Preschoolers (ages 3 to 5) | School-Age Students (ages 5 to 10)

The program is up to 10 weeks long and will focus on a different theme each week.* We’re calling them Wonder Weeks! Preview the lineup here. All activities are open-ended and flexible to encourage children to embrace their natural sense of wonder. It’s about playing with friends and having fun!

Join us during Spring Break! We’ll be diving into the Wonders of Games to give your family a sample of the full Wondercamp experience. Here’s how it might look by age:

Toddlers and Twos

  • Inspired by the book We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, children will embrace imaginative pretend play to go on creative adventures through obstacles in the landscape:
    • In a forest? Make paper trees!
    • In a cave? Create a dark corner!
    • In a meadow? Look for green grass!
    • In a stream? Balance on stepping stones!
  • Learn Games: Freeze Dance, Simon Says, Duck Duck Goose, Pass a Ball, Hide and Seek, Seek and Find
  • Engage Your Senses: Explore puzzles, flashlights, puppets, weaving, felt board storytelling, water/ice, homemade binoculars, dress up, and recipes

Early Preschool/Preschool/Pre-K

  • Inspired by the art of century-old gameplay, children will focus on board and movement games that are played independently, in pairs, and in small and large groups.
  • Children will engage their creativity and self-expression to create new games and reimagine classics, such as:
    • Pin the Tail
    • Tic Tac Toe
    • Candy Land
    • Concentration
  • Unique Materials: Baskets, beanbags, cones, rings, bowling pins, puzzles, dice, checkers, spinners, dominoes, wooden blocks, and cardboard boxes
  • Outdoor Games: Red Light, Green Light, friendly foot races, Steal the Bacon, obstacle courses, and balancing challenges

School Age

  • Inspired by the enjoyment of social games, friendly competition, and cooperative play, we will learn new games, challenge our way of thinking, build memory, and develop social-emotional skills. Games could include:
    • Creative Play: Pictionary, I Spy, OuiSi
    • Math Concepts: Yahtzee, Battleship, Uno
    • Language Skills: Scattergories, Apples to Apples, Scrabble, Bingo
