Welcome to Our School
Welcome to U-GRO Learning Centre here in Harrisburg, PA! My name is Leah and I'm the center director. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education and over 14 years of experience in early childhood education.
Our center has been a part of the Harrisburg community for nearly 25 years and offers several different full- and part-time options in our Infant Care, Toddler, Preschool, and School-Age programs.
We provide a clean and safe environment where Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers are comfortable learning and playing throughout the day. Our talented staff members take part in trainings throughout the year to stay current in the field of early education.

Leah Booker, Director
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University
Certifications: First Aid and CPR
Seeing the children grow each day is why I chose early education! The excitement that they show when they have mastered a skill or have a game that they want you to play with them, is what makes each day so fun. When I am not working with children, I enjoy dancing and reading and attending sporting events, especially the New York Yankees.

Lindsay Whitaker, Assistant Director
Education: CDA in Preschool Education
Certifications: First Aid & CPR
My passion for childcare started at the age of 12 when I began babysitting. Building those strong, trusting connections with the families and children, helping children to identify their emotions and building self confidence are some of the things that make this career path so rewarding. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on nature walks and to the beach, as well as hosting cookouts and events.
