Ongoing Support and Feedback
There are frequent opportunities to meet with your center director. These performance check-ins occur three times per year, where you’ll discuss how you’ve lived our values and the contributions you’ve made to the U-GRO community. Importantly, your performance check-ins are the chance to talk about what you want in your career at U-GRO. Your center director will work with you to develop a growth plan that sets you up for success. In addition to performance check-ins, monthly staff meetings are another chance to receive ongoing support. Topics discussed in these meetings include:
- Company updates
- Curriculum information
- Monthly training topics
- Professional support
Twice a year, U-GRO closes for teacher in-service days led by PQAS certified instructors. These 6-hour training sessions are all about you. What do you want to learn? What support do you need? You’ll never be in a training session that doesn’t enhance your knowledge and skillset.
This is a great time to connect with leadership and learn from other teachers. You’ll leave in-service feeling empowered and equipped with tools and ideas you can implement in your classroom right away.
