Beginnings
In 1973, Janice Holsinger realized a dream: to incorporate her rich art and music background into a unique preschool learning program. Partnering with a local church, and hiring teachers who shared her passion to help children grow and develop, she started the first U-GRO Learning Centre in Palmyra, Pennsylvania.
Growing with U-GRO
Janice was one of the first educators to recognize a growing trend in Central Pennsylvania: families needed full-day childcare while they worked. She dedicated her life to meeting that need. Under Janice’s guidance, U-GRO has reached milestone after milestone.
