Summer Camp begins in June immediately upon the conclusion of the elementary school year and ends in August when school starts. It is our goal for school-age, kindergarten and preschool children to have a relaxed, fun-filled day!
Activities
Summer camp involves a variety of activities including:
- field trips
- picnics

Field Trips
This year a varied list of single-day field trips are planned for Summer Camp.
- June: Land of the Little Horses, Gettysburg, PA
- July: Paramount Sports Complex and Bouce U, Annville, PA
- Aug: Please Touch Museum, Philadelphia, PA
Admission fees and transportation for field trip activities are included in a one-time Summer Camp Field Trip Pass purchase. Most field trips will require a packed brown bag lunch be brought from home. Trip dates will vary by U-GRO center location.
In-House Visitors The following organizations will make a visit to your U-GRO this summer!
- Popcorn Hat Players: "Rapunzel"
- Harmony Hills Puppet Theater: "From the Bottom of the Sea"
- Insectarium: Bugs, bugs, bugs!
- Party Animalz Farm: Pony rides & a petting zoo!
- Critter Caravans: Live reptiles, turtles & lizards!
