Preschool education is where U-GRO Learning Centres got its start.  It’s the cornerstone of our company; a fundamental part of why we came into being.  We took our original preschool-only program and developed it into a full-day regiment for 3, 4 and 5-year olds.

From tiny acorns

U-GRO has developed an educational program and curriculum that preschoolers absolutely love!  They call it fun. We call it our Blended Model®. That means preparing them for kindergarten and, ultimately, academic excellence.

Because children learn through play, U-GRO provides plenty of opportunities to help with their educational development.  Learning centers, small group time and large group activities give preschoolers a wide range of experiences.  In addition, U-GRO introduces early literacy skills through a series of weekly themes and activities.

Airing it out

Few things are more enjoyable than playing outdoors.  U-GRO playgrounds are designed specifically for your child.  Guided by our teachers, your child will be challenged and stimulated by games and activities designed to develop gross motor skills.  It’s everything outdoor play should be: safe, fun, and filled with learning possibilities.

With safety in mind, along with secured, fenced-in play-yards, all of our centres are equipped with both an access system and touch-screen sign-in system. This double-check ensures each and every child’s safety because every parent must punch-in their individualized security code before entering the school to sign-in their child.

Next stop, kindergarten

U-GRO gives your child the experience of a structured routine.  With more opportunities for self-directed play, and with the guidance and support of our teachers, your child will be better prepared for kindergarten.  U-GRO teachers work closely with local public school districts to ensure a successful transition into kindergarten for your child.
