Baby Painting Activity: How Does It Move?

During construction week, the Baby Bunny classroom at HACC Harrisburg U-GRO loved investigating movement of their toy cars in the room.  One way to represent physical action is by dipping the car tires in paint and running them over paper.  The tire tracks provide a visual image of the process of motion.

The Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards for Infants and Toddlers use indicators for developmental outcomes.  See the highlighted items below for those strands associated with this project:
